Music in the Park
With soccer winding down this week we were able to enjoy music in the park for the first time this summer! Next week hopefully we'll actually make it to a farmer's market too! Fantastic!
Our neighborhood association hosts a music in the park event about once a month in the summer. They also do fun things like movies in the park, cookouts and bike rodeos. I can't wait to participate in more events!
This week there was a blue grass/folk music ensemble that played. A local grocery store sponsored the group and our neighborhood association brought out fruit, drinks and cookies. We came armed with a few snacks, drinks, and a football for the boys. The boys ended up playing the whole time with other kids from the neighborhood, which was so fun to watch. Brian's Uncle Sobe joined us for this event too so that was an added bonus.
