Popcorn
This past weekend Brian and G went up to MI on Saturday afternoon. O and I stayed home to venture to a haunted house with some friends on Sunday when it was rigged for kids and had the lights on. Saturday evening we invited my mom over for some movies and a sleepover. She's been anxiously waiting for an opportunity to watch a movie in the theater room and relax in the hot tub.
Earlier in the day O had picked out a Smurfs DVD from Target and was excited to try out our new popcorn popper. I grew up with an air popper and didn't realize how exciting this whole thing would be for him. It was too cute how excited he got about something I thought was so simple. Just goes to show you that you should never underestimate your role as a parent, you never know when something is truly going to amaze your child. After his snack it was time for him to "Smurf off to bed." Yeah, he actually said that. :-)
