Front Porch Makeover - Part 1

It's really important to me that our home looks friendly, happy and inviting.  I want to have a welcoming front porch that's a little fun along the way.  When we moved into our new home a year ago I couldn't quite decide what I wanted to do with the front porch.  I was missing the porch swing and big front porch we'd left behind.  So, basically I did nothing.

The front porch furniture has finally come together and I couldn't be happier.  With some help from Greyson and Brian, I finally finished a chair makeover a few weeks ago.  Then this past week I found the perfect table to go with the chairs.  I love it!!!!  Now I'm on to decorating for fall and our next phase will be taking out the railing and making the pillars more modern.  That'll have to wait for spring I think!

These things were in horrible shape!  Lots of sanding to get rid of layers of paint and rust.  This was Greyson's favorite part.

I sent this picture to Brian to let him know what I was thinking.
